The AIE-PVPS has standardised O&M services for large-scale solar power plants
The AIE-PVPS has standardised the guidelines for O&M programmes for large-scale solar power plants. It defines O&M performance indicators, standard operator services, performance analysis tools and safety protection for photovoltaic power plants.
To help PV asset owners operate and maintain large-scale PV plants in different climate zones, the agency has provided a series of climate-specific operation and maintenance programmes for four climate zones - moderate, hot and dry, hot and humid, and high-altitude deserts.of climate-specific operation and maintenance programmes for four climate zones - moderate, hot and dry, hot and humid, and high-altitude deserts.
The report also includes a description of the different types of maintenance and inspection services. Preventive maintenance (PM) excludes redundant activities and can reduce costs. They should optimise the overall budget for the photovoltaic installation and O&M, depending on the size, design, complexity and environment of the installation.
