118 countries have signed up to triple global renewable energy installations by 2030

118 countries (out of the world's 200) signed an agreement at COP28 in Dubai aimed at tripling the world's renewable energy installations (solar, wind, etc.) by 2030, by reaching

11 TW installed. Solar energy could account for more than half of the 11 TW target. A number of countries have not yet signed the agreement: China, India, South Africa, Egypt, Russia, Saudi Arabia, etc.
