Low energy demand limits fossil fuel-based production in Germany

In Germany, the drop in energy demand due to containment and the commissioning of new RE installations

makes fossil fuel-based power generation facilities uneconomic. This happened during the weekend. On Monday, the resumption of activity restored the profitability of all the installations.
