Compensation in Belgian Wallonia?

The Walloon government is considering compensating owners of photovoltaic panels affected by their solar inverters becoming unstuck. This phenomenon

is higher during periods of high solar production (especially between 11 and 15 o'clock in the day) and low consumption, leading to an overload of the electricity network. The amount of compensation would be €266 for a 5.5 kVA installation and €484 for a 10 kVA installation. The total compensation would cost €4.7 million in 2024 and again in 2025.
