The United States has retained its title as the leading market for clean energy investment
The United States has retained its title as the leading market for clean energy investments,
according to the biannual RECAI (Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index) of the auditing firm EY. This is the consequence of Joe Biden's announcement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 52% by 2030, and the installation of 19 GW in 2020 (+43% over 2019)
India tops the solar PV attractiveness index with a score of 62.7, higher than China (60.3) and the US (57.6).
