300 billion invested in RE in 2018
In 2018, the world has invested more than $300 billion in green energy, including $131 billion
in solar energy (-24% over 2017 while the cost of installing a megawatt has fallen by 12% in 12 months), including $129bn in wind power, of which $6bn in biomass, according to Bloomberg NEF, which estimates that global solar installations have increased by 10%, from 99 GW in 2017 to 109 GW last year.

Editor's note These figures are not consistent: panel installations would have increased by 10% over 2017. If the amount invested has decreased by 24%, this would mean that the cost of installing one MW has decreased by 34%. However, Bloomberg estimates that the price has fallen by only 12%. How does he explain the other 22%?
