SilBuCam, a Spanish consultancy specialising in metallurgical processes, is producing solar grade silicon in the SisAl pilot project in Spain. It produces silicon metal using a low-impact circular process. The new patented process does not generateCO2 and does not use coal, which introduces impurities.
