German auction a great success

The latest solar photovoltaic auction in Germany saw three and a half times more demand (almost 5.5 GW) than supply (1.6 GW) for ground-mounted capacity. Never before

There has never been such a high level of participation in a call for tenders for systems. The average price was €0.0517 per kWh (with a range from €0.044 to €0.0544/kWh).
